RevolVR became the first VR-tournament in the world. It was organized by Wargaming and VRTech companies. The winner took over one million rubles.
The participants played the cowboy shooter RevolVR. There were more than 16 thousand game-sessions overall.
The new VR-tournament will be held in the spring of 2018 and will become international.
People visited CinemaVR in different cities to take part in RevolVR tournament for a month from 23th of November to 22th of December, 2017. The top 32 players reached the Final. The total prize fund amounted to 1 101 200 rubles.
The final battles took place on WG Fest in Moscow on 23th of December. 19-year-old Kirill Golubev from St. Petersburg became the winner and also the new millionaire. Second place went to Sergei Ogorodnev who received a gaming laptop MSI. Vladimir Lavrinenko with VR-kit HTC VIVE was on the third place.

The first VR-tournament in the world was organized by Wargaming company and VRTech group.
Wargaming is one of the world's largest publishers and developers in the free-to-play MMO market. The company was founded in 1998 and during this time managed to develop and release more than 15 projects. Currently, the Wargaming company is working on a military series of MMO-games, dedicated to tank, air and sea battles of the mid-20th century: World of Tanks, World of Warplanes and World of Warships. All three projects are part of the Wargaming.net (www.wargaming.net) MMO universe, which brings together millions of players into the global wargamer community.
RevolVR is a cowboy shooter for 4 players in virtual reality. Players choose one of 4 characters and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the western.
Gameplay Players shoot each other with revolvers. The one who shoots aptly, hides well and deftly avoids will win.
Features Shelter in the location, the ability to shoot with both hands, additional damage from the headshots.
3 locations Colorful game locations in the Wild West setting: city street, saloon, desert.
Counting points Statistics of victories and defeats in the game are displayed at the end of the session.
Weapons Each player has two six-charge colt.
CinemaVR is local based VR entertainment. CinemaVR centres are located in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don and Alexandrov. The client chooses the game from the poster, puts on a virtual reality helmet with headphones, picks up game controllers and transfers to the game world.
